What does the Bible say about God? Often, we first ask, “What does the text say about me? What is my role in the Bible?" Asking what the text says about God helps us to better find our role in the Bible and our faith. The Bible should both inspire and surprise us, even shock us each time we come together for a Bible Study. This study will look at the Bible in perhaps an unfamiliar manner, using the Socratic Method. Questions will be asked of a text and answers will be given and/or attempted. Through these questions, the student of the Bible learns to teach themself, via questioning, answering, questioning, answering, to develop and analyze a text.
